A computer with iWork can now be installed on a Mac, thanks to a software update from Apple.
The software, called iWork 7.1.5, is a free update to the Mac App Store that enables Mac users to download and install the new Mac OS X operating system on a Windows computer, Mac or Mac computer, or both.
The update adds the iWork system software to Mac users’ systems, and can be installed by right-clicking on the system icon and selecting “Install Now”.
It is compatible with Mac OS 10.6.5 and earlier, as well as Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac OS 9, MacOS X 10.4.4, Mac-compatible version of Windows 7 and earlier.
Apple has previously been mum on its plans to release iWork on Macs, but the software has become one of the most popular Mac apps in the Apple ecosystem.
Apple had previously stated it would “not be offering Mac users a full suite of Mac software”.
However, it has since moved to announce iWork for Mac, offering a number of software features including a Mac-specific calendar, a calendar of iWork documents, and a desktop calendar.
Apple’s iWorks software is available for free to Mac and PC users.
It can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store for free.
